Full terms and conditions for SMA Ireland Health professional quiz and prize draw 2026

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Participants should retain a copy for their information.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering the promotion, participants confirm that they have read the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their participation into the promotion, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

  1. Open to Health Professionals based in Republic of Ireland who attend one of the three conferences taking place between 07.10.26 and 27.11.26 at the following events: IGPNEA - Friday 9th October and Saturday 10th October; GP Study Day - Saturday 7th November and IPA 2026 Conference - Thursday 26th and Friday 27th November. Excludes employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
  2. No purchase necessary. Participants will be invited to take part in the SMA IRELAND QUIZ. On completing the quiz, participants may choose to complete an entry form for inclusion into the prize draw. A completed entry will include the following information: Full Name, and a valid email address.
  3. All valid quiz and prize draw entries must be completed by event closing time on 27.11.26. All those who complete a valid/genuine quiz within the stated dates and choose to complete an entry form will be included in the prize draw for a chance to win one (1) of three (3) prizes.
  4. No responsibility will be accepted for entries which are incomplete, incorrectly completed, not received for whatever reason or for any technical or other error that may arise with any entry.
  5. There are three (3) prizes available to be won in total each consisting of a NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS Pod Coffee Machine Bundle by De’Longhi bundle containing one machine and three boxes of pods (Café au Lait, Americano and Flat White – 12 pods of each) worth €39.95.
  6. Maximum one quiz/prize draw entry per person and no one person may win more than one prize throughout the duration of the promotion.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be attempting to tamper with the operation of these prize draws by setting up multiple accounts, using multiple identities or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive. Bulk, trade, agencies or third party or automated entries are not permitted and will be disqualified.
  8. The winners will be drawn at random by an independently verified computer process from all valid and genuine quiz responses received by the stated closing date. The prize draw will take place within seven (7) days of the closing date.
  9. All entrants are required to provide a genuine email address that is personal, valid, and accessible throughout the promotion. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for incorrect details provided by the winners. If an email address becomes inaccessible during the promotion, the Promoter is not able to retrieve or amend to a new email address. In the event that the specified information is not provided or is incorrect or an alias, the entry may be considered incomplete and therefore the Promoter reserves the right to invalidate the entry.
  10. The winners will be notified via email on the same day as the draw taking place using the email address included in their original entry. If any winner cannot be contacted after 14 days and three (3) attempts of the original notification, or is unable to take the prize, they shall loss their prize entitlement and their prize will be awarded to a reserve winner selected at the time of the initial prize allocation. The prize will be sent by courier within seven (7) days of confirmation by the winner of the winner’s email address or postal address. The prize is not transferable. The prize is as stated, and no cash alternative will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize, should the stated item become unavailable for any reason, with an alternative of equal or greater value.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner(s) including, but not limited to, any entrant’s identity, and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements, or otherwise where a participant has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the promotion, or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding.
  12. By taking part in the promotion, the prize winners agree that the Promoter may contact them to ask for their consent as to whether they want to participate in reasonable marketing activities and publicity relating to the promotion. Such publicity may include, without limitation, the entrants’ name and/or if consent given, image or statements made by entrants concerning the promotion and/or prize obtained as part of the promotion. The winners are not obliged to agree to any such request.
  13. Winners’ List: Subject to the Promoter’s Nestlé Privacy Notice | Nestlé UK & Ireland, the surnames and counties of the verified winners will be available upon request by sending an email to: consumer.services@uk.nestle.com with the subject line ‘WINNERS’ LIST: SMA IRELAND QUIZ PRIZE DRAW 2026’ for a period of 90 days following the end of the prize draw. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. When contacting this email address, your request will be actioned in line with Nestlé Ireland Privacy Policy. If any winner objects to their information being published, then they can contact the Promoter by emailing UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com with the subject line ‘WINNERS’ LIST: SMA IRELAND QUIZ PRIZE DRAW 2026’. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the relevant Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
  14. Data Protection: The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent/you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications. The names and counties of the verified winners will be made available as set out in the clause above, and winners can object to this by emailing UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com. Otherwise, your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 as applicable. You can request access to your personal data, have any inaccuracies rectified or request deletion of personal data by sending an email to UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time. For the purpose of this promotion, requests to delete personal data can only be actioned after the promotion has concluded and the winner(s) accepted their prize. Any data obtained via this promotion will be deleted after 90 days of the promotional end date.
  15. By participating in the promotion, the quiz respondents license and grants the Promoter an exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution, or liability. Participants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use where the moral rights in respect of the content are theirs to assert. Participants warrant that any comments are their own, have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any third party and they have full authority to grant these rights.
  16. Limitations of Liability: Neither the Promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for:
    • Any incorrect or inaccurate submission during the registration process, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
    • Any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction, or alteration of any entries/data at any point in the operation of this Promotion. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of this Promotion.
    • Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof.
    • Regretfully, the Promoter cannot be held liable for system failures on the website.
  17. Conduct of Entry: Entrants of the Promotion agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to remove any entry by an individual found to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive.
  18. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  19. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  20. The promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales but any disputes as to the meaning of these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the participant’s local courts.
  21. All normal internet connection charges associated with the submission of an entry to the promotion shall be the entrant’s responsibility.
  22. Any personal tax liability arising as a result of winning a prize in the prize draw will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
  23. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
